Dr May Thu

MBBS, Diploma in Child Health

Dr May grew up in Myanmar and earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine in Yangon. She worked for three years at Ballarat Hospital before entering the Australian General Practice Training Program. Since 2017, Dr May has practised as a General Practitioner in rural clinics across Lorne, Warrnambool and Ballarat. She joined Ballan GP Clinic in 2020 and is working towards her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also holds a Diploma in Child Health. Dr May lives in Ballarat with her family and enjoys cooking Burmese food.
