Dr May Thu
MBBS, Diploma in Child Health
Dr May is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and has been practicing as a GP since 2017. She completed her medical degree at the University of Medicine, Yangon, and holds a Diploma in Child Health from The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.
Dr May enjoys all aspects of family medicine and values building long-term relationships with her patients. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based care in a supportive environment, helping patients make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Dr May has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine. She provides thorough skin check consultations, including the assessment of suspicious lesions and advice on prevention and early detection.
Having lived in Ballarat with her young family for several years, Dr May enjoys playing badminton and golf, exploring the outdoors, and cooking traditional Burmese cuisine.
