Consultation Information
Ballan GP Clinic is a fully bulk billing practice.
Standard GP appointments (including face to face, phone or video consultations) will be bulk billed for eligible patients under the Australian Government’s Strengthening Medicare Program.
Bulk billing is available to all eligible Medicare card holders. Please note, some out-of-pocket fees may apply for certain procedures or services. These can be discussed with your GP at the time of booking.
For more information or clarification on fees, contact our friendly reception team.
Medical Reports
Fees for medical reports are determined by the doctor based on the complexity and time required. Please submit all relevant documentation to the clinic prior to your appointment so we can allocate appropriate time and provide an estimated fee.
New Patients
If you are a first-time patient, please let our reception team know when you call us on 03 5366 7999. This helps us prepare and ensure we cover all aspects of your medical history and current health conditions.
For your initial appointment, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to complete your registration and update your personal health information. This enables the doctor to provide you with personalised and accurate care.
Please bring your Medicare card and any current concession cards (such as health care or pension cards). Without a valid concession card on the day, we will be unable to offer reduced fee payment.
Medical Emergencies
For life-threatening medical emergencies, please contact emergency services immediately by calling “000” and request an ambulance.
If you are unsure, it is always safer to call for urgent assistance.
