Dr Rakhi Basu

MBBS, FRACGP, Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, DRANZOG Advanced 

Dr Basu was born in Scotland and educated in England and India. She earned her medical degree and Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Calcutta, gaining experience in India and Australia. After training across Victoria, she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and earned an Advanced Diploma from RANZCOG. 

Dr Basu has worked in general practice and obstetrics in Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland. She has a special interest in elderly care and mental health support. Outside work, she enjoys gardening and time with her pet cockatiel, Joey.
