Dr Mirza Hossain

Dr Mirza completed his medical degree in Bangladesh and began working in Australia in 2003 as a Psychiatric Doctor at Southern Health. He gained experience across Monash, Dandenong, and Casey Hospitals before transitioning to General Practice in 2009 and completing the Australian Medical Council exam. Dr Mirza joined mecwacare Ballan in October 2022 to continue his career as a family doctor. His interests include psychiatry, child and adolescent health, chronic disease management, preventive care, and minor surgery. He enjoys family walks, watching soccer, and road trips.
